Songbird and Rainmeter Working Together
Phew…
…getting Rainmeter to display the currently playing track from Songbird was a trip!
I just installed Rainmeter, which is great! It doesn’t support Songbird though… So I tried to get it to, but getting Rainmeter to display the currently playing track from Songbird was a trip! You see, Rainmeter only supports Winamp natively. So, I had to do some detective work and some modifying to get it to work. Here is how I did it…

John Hodgman Talks About President Obama’s Nerdiness
John Hodgman, you know he’s a correspondent on the Daily Show & he’s in the Mac commercials as a PC… Yea, that guy! Well, he wrote a humorous speech in which he talks about Obama being the first nerd president. John cites a few nerdy examples and quizzes the President to test his nerd-i-ness. Quite a funny speech, whether or not you like Obama. I am glad other people watch C-SPAN, because I would have never come across this gem otherwise… And who would have thought C-SPAN would have there own YouTube channel? I know! Anyway… enjoi.

The Cardinals Last Show
So, I am finally getting around to writing a post about the Cardinals last show. The Cardinals’ put on a pretty excellent show Friday, March 20th at the Fox theater in Atlanta! I was fortunate enough to get some very close floor seats with my friends care of the free make-up tickets. I have to say, the show was certainly better and a lot longer than October’s pitiful performance…
